If you’re familiar with Clubhouse, it is an invite-only chat application available for Apple’s iOS. It has become popular since launching last year. User invite only sections are called Audio Rooms and the clear benefit is people can control who they speak to. This is the latest messaging app trend that other services are looking to copy. Similar to SnapChat’s Stories several years ago, expect rivals to adopt similar features. Telegram is the first to follow Clubhouse’s lead. According to the report, the company will allow massive group chats in specific rooms. One of the things that makes Clubhouse work is the level of moderation the app provides. We guess Telegram will take a similar approach.

Coming to Windows 10?
Users on Windows 10 may never see this feature because there is no native Telegram app on the platform. However, there is a third-party solution that aims to replicate the service. Unigram is a popular Windows 10 application that taps into the popular Telegram communication platform. Unigram initially became popular on Windows Phone. However, when Microsoft abandoned its mobile platform, the app was discontinued. However, it has remained on PC and can be downloaded from the Microsoft Store here. While personally I am not impressed by the popularity of Clubhouse, it is nice to see new features come to the messaging world. Sure, in terms of audio rooms that means basic abilities that were available on IM apps 15 years ago, but still. Tip of the day: Do you often experience PC freezes or crashs with Blue Screens of Death (BSOD)? Then you should use Windows Memory Diagnostic to test your computers RAM for any problems that might be caused from damaged memory modules. This is a tool built into Windows 10 which can be launched at startup to run various memory checks.
