For example, like on Microsoft Teams, the Planner appears in a tab. This will be the same for SharePoint, where the tab can be used to house tasks in a single location. Planner makes it easier for businesses to manage teamwork operations, allowing the creation of team-wide email notifications, project due dates, and visual dashboards. There are two specific Planner abilities integrated into SharePoint. The first gives users tools to add a plan to the left navigation pane of SharePoint sites: “Adding a plan – The +New button on the homepage of every SharePoint site makes it easy to create lists and document libraries directly from your homepage. Now, that +New button will include the option to add a Planner plan. You can add the plan to your navigation pane so your whole team can access it in a single click, simplifying overall navigation.”
Second Integration
Secondly, Microsoft Planner can be used integrated for web. Users can place Board or Charts from the Planner directly into the homepage of a SharePoint site: “Adding a web part – SharePoint web parts help you quickly glean and access relevant information, from internal news to shared documents. The new Planner web part adds to this experience, allowing you to add plan information directly on pages and news posts. Depending on what task information you think is most relevant to your team, you can choose between the Planner Board or Charts view to appear on your homepage.” Microsoft confirmed today that the two new Planner integrations are available today. All SharePoint users can use the tools.
