That all-digital announcement is not really a surprise. When Microsoft Build 2022 was confirmed a month ago, the company did not mention if it would be all-digital or not. However, it was obvious the event would be online because the company did not discuss a venue. Microsoft has been hosting all conferences and product launches online since the start of the pandemic. While live events are back, the company is seemingly sticking to the all-digital model, at least for now. Hosting online does have some benefits for partners, developers, and customers. Specifically, there is no longer a limit on the number of attendees. Restrictions like venue capacity or travel capabilities. Because Microsoft Build 2022 is online, anyone can register and attend for free. https://twitter.com/msdev/status/1518985549591289856

Open Sessions

While Microsoft has not published the complete catalog of sessions yet, the company has revealed details on two upcoming Build sessions. Microsoft titles the first sessions “Microsoft Build Into Focus: Metaverse,” and it will get underway on Tuesday, May 24 between 3:30 PM and 4:14 PM EDT. Sam George, CVP of Azure IoT and Microsoft Teams General Manager Nicole Herskowitz will lead the session. The second session is titled “Develop Windows apps on and for a rich ecosystem of platforms and devices,” which will happen on Wednesday, May 25 between 4:00 PM and 4:45 PM EDT. Tip of the day: Do you know that Windows 11 / Windows 10 allows creating PDFs from basically any app with printing support? In our tutorial, we show you how this works via Microsoft Print to PDF and Bullzip PDF Printer to save a PDF from any app, even with advanced options like adjusted quality, multi-page printing, and password protection.
